One more story - please Daddy?
One more story, please?
Then I'll go to sleep, Daddy,
Just one more story - please?
All right dear - but only one,
'Cause your Daddy's tired too,
So once again upon a time,
There was a girl like youÖ
She went to school - a pretty girl,
To jump and play and learn,
But never pushed her friends away,
She'd always wait her turn.
And at home with Mom and Dad,
And Mike her little brother,
She'd help clean house, or set the table,
A real big help to Mother.
When she was asked to go to bed,
She did so right away,
Or take a bath was always fun,
A bubble-boat was playÖ.
She didn't hear me say - "pleasant dreams". |
